British Summer Honey - 227g/8oz
This honey has been foraged by the bees throughout the summer months here in Bristol and is made from a wide variety of summer flowering plants surrounding the bee hives. Once harvested, the honey is spun out of the frames, lightly filtered and poured into jars. It’s as fresh as it gets!
My favourite ways to enjoy honey are in my morning tea or coffee, with cheese and crackers or simply a teaspoon on its own where you can really taste the flavour and feel the texture. Enjoy the most wonderful food that nature gives us!
Please note, postage costs are the same for up to four jars of honey, and to learn more about how the honey is made watch the video below.
Soft Set Honey - 227g/8oz
Soft set honey is simply honey that has crystallised into a very fine granule size. Nothing is added, it is 100% honey. First I grind up a small batch of already crystallised honey in a pestle and mortar. Once it is smooth and soft I then add this to a larger batch of liquid honey. Over the course of a week or so at cooler temperatures the large batch is now set around the same crystal size as the 'seed' honey. Make sure you try a spoonful of this honey on its own to appreciate the wonderful smooth texture and flavour.

100% Beeswax for craft projects 1oz/28g block
This beeswax has come from my beehives in Bristol this summer. The wax has gone through a few stages of filtering before being poured into 1oz/28g moulds. I've been learning that there are so many uses for beeswax. From polishing furniture to waxing an archer's bow sting. Other uses include sealing letters, candle making, leather work projects, even sealing cheese and home brew bottles! Please let me know what you are using it for.
